About this Dog
Harper is a very sweet mixed breed pup! We are guessing that she is between 7 & 10 years old but still acts as though she is a puppy. She is unbelievably sweet and loves every person she has ever come across. We rescued her from the middle of a very busy road a little over 1 month ago. We tried very hard to find her owners with no success. She showed no signs of abuse or neglect, so we aren't sure why she was lost. We had every intention on keeping her, however, our other dog is not a fan of having a new dog in the house. Harper does not mind other animals and tried very hard to get along with our OG dog, but the OG is just not having it. We are afraid Harper will be hurt or that we just cant provide the life she deserves since we have to keep the separate most of the time. She absolutely loves to cuddle and be surrounded by people. We just want her to have a good life.

How will Harper receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Harper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
