About this Cat
Meet Kermit, a black and white tuxedo cat about a year old. Kermit was found on a gravel road, in a wooded area in Reva. As luck would have it, one of our fosters had a rare evening off and suddenly her dogs were making a racket about something outside at midnight. She went outside to look and heard a wailing cat from the woods. After calling out to him, suddenly Kermit came bounding towards her. She picked him up and brought him inside. He stayed by her side al night, not wanting t leave her. He must've had a very frightening experience. Kermit was posted on a lost pet website and we contacted the shelter - no one reported him missing. Sadly, we are guessing he was dumped out in the middle of nowhere.Kermit is a total lovebug and has a silly Siamese-like meow. He purrs as soon as he sees you and loves to follow you around the house. He is a lapcat and loves to snuggle, He gets along well with other cats, kittens, and cat-friendly dogs and loves to watch a movie or any kind of tv with you.Kermit is dewormed, had his FVRCP vaccine and a booster, his rabies vaccine, is neutered, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to reregister every year, we've done it for you! Contribute to Kermit's Stash!

100% of Kermit's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Kermit.
Adopt Kermit and Receive Kermit's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kermit's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kermit's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kermit, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kermit's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kermit was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kermit’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kermit’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kermit’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
