About this Cat
Meet Lorelei, a beautiful gray and cream torbi, just about 3 years old. A Good Samaritan found her when she took a break for lunch one day She and her coworker walked around the building and saw Lorelei running toward them from the woods, seemingly happy to hear a human voice. You see, Lorelei is also blind. She was starving and very thin. Having nothing to feed her with, but the Doritos in her hands, the kind lady held them out to her, Lorelei smelled them and immediately scarfed them up in no time. She had been outside for a long time, judging by her fur and how underweight she was. Lorelei is doing great now. She is just like any other cat. She does well in the litter box, has a healthy appetite, is a cuddler and is a complete lovebug, sleeping in her foster's bed at night. She will be ready to go home within a week or two with an approved application and is looking for a quiet, low activity home with either no children or children over the age of 14ish. Blind cats require no special care, only that furniture, food, and water remain in the same place, as they memorize their surroundings to get around.Lorelei is/will be dewormed, receive her FVRCP and rabies vaccines, will be spayed, combo tested, and be microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to re-register every year, we've taken care of it for you. Interested in this sweet paradise of a girl? Let us know! Contribute to Lorelei's Stash!

100% of Lorelei's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Lorelei.
Adopt Lorelei and Receive Lorelei's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lorelei's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lorelei's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lorelei, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lorelei's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lorelei was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lorelei’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lorelei’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lorelei’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
