About this Cat
Meet Caleb and BFF Patchie! Caleb first came to us as a tiny kitten in 2019, was adopted, then returned to us last year. Caleb is a huge. handsome, brown and white tabby. He is a big lug who always wears the same "I'm not impressed" face. His favorite activity - you guessed it - laying in the sun with his best buddy, Patchie, who he met in his foster home.Patchie is a black and white, chunky guy, about 3 - 5 years old who has an easy-going purrsonality, though is shy when you first meet him. He was found by former adopters in the woods behind their property, very sick with a bad case of mange and contacted us. I will never forget what the gentleman said, "Please help him. He wants to live so much."Patchie saw our vet and we were told this was the worst case of mange she had ever seen. She was not sure he would be okay, but knew we didn't give up on **any** cat, so we began to treat him. Patchie showed rapid improvement and soon came into foster care. That was years ago.Patchie has been completely healed, has a nice shiny fur coat, and is a happy go lucky sweetheart. He loves to hang around his bestie, Caleb, and the two do everything together. Patchie is not a fan of being picked up, but enjoys being pet and doing surveillance need surveillance with Caleb. Both Patchie and Caleb can always be seen high atop furniture, a fireplace mantle - anywhere - just watching everyone. That's their jam. Both boys would do best in a quiet, low activity home with older kids over the age of 12 years old. They guys are besties and bonded and need to be adopted together.. Patchie and Caleb would be a great companion cats, once they feel comfortable and get to know you.Caleb and Patchie are neutered, had their FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. Let us know if you need surveillance at your home - they're available! [email protected] or 540717.4420

Adopt Caleb and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Caleb's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Caleb's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Caleb, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Caleb's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Caleb was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Caleb’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Caleb’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Caleb’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
