Meet Jojo! Jojo is a handsome gray and white cat about 3 - 4 years old. He has been with us for 2 1/2 years. All of his siblings have long been adopted and he doesn't understand why he is still waiting for his family to find him. Jojo came to us last August 2022 from a high-kill shelter with a few other cats that he lived with. Jojo loves other cats and is a positive kind of guy - always wanting to give head butts and be pet. He is a lovebug once he gets to know you. He will greet you at the door when you come home, rub up against you for a hug, and follow you around the house, watching your every move. Jojo has a heart murmur, but it doesn't affect him at all. Jojo needs a quiet, low activity home. He can be with other cat friends or be by himself - he is happy either way. He just wants to be loved.He is neutered, has his FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jojo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jojo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jojo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jojo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
