About this Cat
Hello there, My name is Mikaela and I am a 1 year and 2 months old female. My owners are a bit perplexed by my colors; on the one hand, I appear to be a Tortie (or Tortoiseshell), but because the bottom of my hind legs are white, that makes me a Calico, I think. But the pictures shown don't lie. I am 1 of a litter of 5 trying to find a forever home one day. Back in my kitten days, I was the quickest in my pack. Between my speed and being born on a cold February night, resulted in being named after American Alpine Skier, Mikaela Shiffrin. I am being raised in a house filled with adults. Thus I don't have experience with children. I have problem-solving skills that my siblings lack. My human has discovered that I also have a full-body purr (felt by hand traveling down my spine while being petted), that he has never felt in any other cat before. By physical size, I am the middle of the pack with my 2 brothers eating all the time, yet I always clean up the leftovers after every meal. My wet food is between two brands; Fancy Feast and Friskies. My dry food is Purina Cat Chow. I am litter box trained. While I am an Indoor cat, I love lying in my cat tree by the window and watching the wildlife (birds, squirrels & deer) feeding in my backyard. My human trait is lying on that same perch and just taking in the sunshine on a sunny day. I was spayed by the great veterinarian staff at Betty Baugh's Animal Clinic in Richmond VA. They also have my vaccine history on file.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mikaela's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mikaela was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mikaela’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
