About this Dog
Just over a year old, Mercedes is a stunning, petite girl who is currently located in North Carolina. She's a fun girl with so much potential! She is very social with people and is a dream on leash! Very quick to learn and has a lot of food drive which can make training easier. She doesn't seem to know how to play fetch or with other toys but she might in time. She is housebroken, crate trained and rides well in the car, both loose and crated. Her basic obedience is improving and her family will need to continue it. Mercedes requires slow introductions to any new dogs as she can be selective. Mercedes will not be placed with cats or small children. Below is a bio from Mercedes foster: Mercedes is a 40-45lb malinois just over a year old. She has tons of prey drive but very little possession or hunt. She will play fetch but you will need to keep it fun and exciting for her. She knows all commands and is very willing to please. Extremely food motivated. She does well around large dogs but with proper supervision is a must….. She is a little spicy and sometimes will instigate to initiate a fight which could turn into a serious fight. She will listen off leash with the remote ecollar, using the Vibrate for “no and leave it” commands. She will not be able to live with or be around small dogs. Mercedes does great with adults. She is a very sweet dog and would thrive in a household with older kids without other pets. She is spayed, UTD and heartworm negative! Reasonable transport can be arranged!
