About this Cat
Born on March 26, Peanut may be the youngest of the Bunch o’ Nuts, but she’s already claimed a big place in everyone’s hearts.Though she came from another litter, she was adopted into Walnut’s crew while still nursing and has been part of the gang ever since. Peanut is a total sweetheart—when you pick her up, she melts in your arms like a little ragdoll. She adores cuddles and always wants to be where you are. If she finds herself alone, she’ll let you know with a sweet little meow chorus until you're back in sight.Peanut is also the first to the food bowl at dinner time and has plenty of playful energy to burn. She’s the perfect combination of snuggly and spirited!Peanut is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on all her care. She won’t need another vet visit until her first birthday. She's great with school-aged kids with good cat manners and loves adult cats.If you're looking for a kitten who’s affectionate, playful, and utterly devoted, Peanut is your girl. ?Peanut and Walnut would make a great pair. For the Clear the Shelter campaign (August) we have a reduced adoption fee ($125) and especially for pairs ($175/pair)Your application must be submitted and approved prior to the adoption event to leave with the kitten(s). Please watch your email and respond promptly to ensure your application receives priority over others. Please apply at https://www.deweyanimals.org/adoption-application.html

Adopt Peanut and Receive Peanut's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Peanut's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Peanut's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Peanut, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Peanut's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Peanut was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Peanut’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Peanut’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Peanut’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
