Missy Elliott's Personality Missy Elliott is a beautiful calico/tortoishell mix who is a super mama and now a superstar lap cat! She is a gentle girl who has raised her four baby girls with love, patience and lots of purrs. She is still a doting mama but is now ready to step out of mama mode and into the spotlight of a forever home of her own. Missy is exceptionally sweet and nurturing. She's been a loving and attentive mama. She is calm, affectionate and ready to soak up attention all for herself. Missy is gentle with a quiet confidence and soulful eyes. She is a pro at lounging, purring and making herself the perfect cuddle companion. She is a well-mannered young cat. While Missy has been busy taking care of her babies, she has also shown us a playful side. Missy likes playing with several battery operated toys and will sometimes join in when her kittens are playing. What Type of Home Missy Elliott Needs Missy needs a home that will give her a lot of love and affection. She will likely to well in just about any home - with a single person who is around the home, a couple or a family with older kids. We have not seen her interact with other cats other than her kittens and aren't sure how she would respond given she's still living with her kittens and likely filled with her mama instincts. We think she would do just fine as a single cat where people are around to interact with her. Where Missy Elliott Came From Missy is mama to Pandora (now 6 months old) and Megan, Cardi B, Doja Cat and Dochi (all posted separately). She was found living outside a home with several stray cats. The caretaker did his best to feed these cats, but was not able to provide any vet care. Luckily Missy and her kittens, Pandora, and another cat with newborn kittens were discovered by a kind woman who does rescue in Southwestern Virginia. With few resources to help cats in this part of Virginia, they were transferred to SPCA NOVA.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Missy Elliott was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Missy Elliott’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Missy Elliott’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Missy Elliott’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
