About this Dog
Meet Ace! This adorable little guy has a heart as big as his personality and deserves better than he’s had. He was surrendered to us by his owner who showed little regard for his welfare. He had no prior vet care, was not neutered, and needed a dental. We don't understand the indifference but are glad she found a safe, responsible option for him. We were happy to take Ace into our rescue and show him that life can be better. He’s been fully vetted now and is ready to start his new life. Ace is being fostered by Renee and her pup, Ryder, Ace’s new bestie. He integrated quickly with Ryder and has done well meeting the grandkids when they visit. Renee describes Ace as a little guy with a BIG personality. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys romping around the house, chasing toys, and indulging in a few zoomies. He’s also a Velcro dog and a champion snuggler. He quickly connects to his person and follows Renee everywhere. You’ll typically find Ace curled up in her lap happy as can be. Don't let his small size fool you — Ace is a big fan of outdoor adventures and gets excited at the sight of his leash. He loves to go for walks and outings. He has good leash manners and is not reactive to other dogs or people on walks. He gets along well with other dogs after a short introduction, and would enjoy another dog in his new home to play with, but would be fine as an only dog too. Ace is crate-trained and potty-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Typical to his Chi lineage, he has some barking tendencies, so we don’t feel he is a good fit for a condo or apartment. He barks at the window when someone passes by or when Renee comes and goes. He can also be barky at male visitors and still believes it's his job to protect the home….it isn’t! Renee is keeping him on a leash when visitors come, teaching him to respect the front door and visitor’s space. It's worked well, and he’s improving. Once he gets to know someone, he gets excited when they visit and wants to be petted. Ace's ideal home would be one where he can continue to receive the love, attention, and playtime he deserves. Whether he's the only furry friend or has a canine companion to share in his adventures, Ace is guaranteed to bring joy and companionship to his new family. Adopt Ace and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ace's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ace's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ace, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ace's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ace was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ace’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ace’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ace’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
