About this Dog
Meet Morgan! This very sweet girl is a Hurricane Helena survivor whose world was turned upside down when her family lost their home. Living in a camper with two toddlers and other pets, they made the difficult decision to surrender Morgan so she could have the chance at a better life. And now she’s ready to find her forever family. Morgan is a friendly, social pup who gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s loving, adaptable, and eager to start her next chapter. Since coming into rescue, Morgan has adjusted beautifully. She’s lived both as an only dog and as part of a pack, and she’s currently being fostered with two small, middle-aged Chihuahuas - she’s respectful of their space and calm around them. She has great house manners: potty-trained, crate-trained, and respectful of boundaries and belongings. She only hops on the couch when invited and picks up on new routines quickly. Morgan is very affectionate—she loves giving kisses and always greets you with a wagging tail. With a medium energy level, she’s playful and active but also knows how to settle down. She enjoys time outdoors, loves chasing balls, and can entertain herself indoors with toys. She already knows commands like sit and wait, and her leash skills have greatly improved in her foster home. Like many young dogs, she may jump up to greet you, but she’s eager to learn and gets better every day. Here’s what Morgan’s foster mom, Tamlynn, had to say: “I consider Morgan the Goldilocks of dogs! She’s past the puppy stage but still has great energy, making her a fun companion. She’s the perfect size—not too big, not too small. She’s already house- and crate-trained, and sleeps through the night curled up next to her people. She plays well with other dogs and is incredibly patient with my older, feisty Chihuahua. She really is the perfect dog for a very lucky family.” In her previous home, Morgan lived with other dogs, cats, and young children. We think she’d thrive in a home with other pups or playful kids to grow up with. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, easygoing companion, Morgan might just be your girl. Apply today! Adopt Morgan and Receive Morgan's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Morgan's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Morgan's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Morgan, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Morgan's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Morgan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Morgan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Morgan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Morgan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
