About this Dog
Meet Little Bit (or LB, as we like to call her)! This tiny girl was left behind with her buddy, Phoebe, when their owners were evicted from their trailer park home. A kind neighbor took them in and cared for them for a few weeks while trying to find them a safe place, eventually reaching out to our rescue for help. Now in foster care, LB is thriving. She’s living with a senior dog and a cat, and doing well with both. She may bark at the cat on occasion, but responds well to correction. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm canine companion. LB was understandably timid at first, but after a few days she started to trust. Now, she greets her foster mom with tail wags and kisses when she comes home. LB is crate-trained and currently stays in a gated area when left alone. She’s also potty-trained and will go to the door to let you know when it’s time to go out. Good girl, LB! LB has proven to be a sweet, affectionate lap dog. She loves to curl up on your lap, snuggle into soft blankets, nap in cozy dog beds, and sunbathe. Her foster mom describes her as a low-energy couch potato who’s happiest when lounging close to her person. While LB walks fine on a leash, she doesn’t like to go too far just yet. Loud noises still scare her a bit. We suspect she didn’t get much exposure to the outside world in her previous home, but with time and reassurance, she’s gaining confidence. Weighing in at 9 pounds, LB has a sweet personality packed into a tiny frame. She’ll alert you when the mail arrives or neighbors come by, but settles down quickly with a little reassurance. LB is ready to find her forever family, a loving home with a cozy lap, soft blankets, and a gentle pup companion to keep her company. Could it be yours? Apply today! Adopt Little Bit and Receive Little Bit's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Little Bit's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Little Bit's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Little Bit, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Little Bit's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Little Bit was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Little Bit’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Little Bit’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Little Bit’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
