About this Dog
Meet Mary! Mary has been in her local foster home for a few weeks now, and she's doing great! She has such a sweet, good nature and impeccable social skills with both humans and animals. Her foster parents have a dog walking/pet sitting business and need to foster very adaptable dogs. Mary integrated easily with her foster pack - both cats and dogs - and has done well meeting all the client dogs, seeing them as new playmates and snuggle buddies. Mary came to us pregnant, and we knew her as a proud mama for the first few months she was with us. She was surrendered to a local shelter just days before Christmas to a shelter that was already over capacity. They set up a temporary spot in their bathroom and put out a plea to the rescue community for help. Thankfully, Worthy Dog found a fabulous foster home for Mary to care for her pups, and she did an excellent job nursing her large brood and all of her puppies have been adopted. Once Mary finished her motherly duties, her new fun, playful personality emerged. She’s still a young pup around 1.5 to 2 years old. She loves to be around people and makes friends quickly. She greets new people with a wagging tail, loves to snuggle, and will lean into you for pets. She is very gentle and has been around kids ages 1 to 10 years and will make an excellent family dog. Her favorite things include romping around the yard, playing with a pup buddy, and snuggling with her humans. She's a big fan of treats too! Her foster mom, Lisa, checked in with an update: “Mary is doing great and is sweet as can be! She’s playful but respectful and sits patiently for food. She’s perfectly housetrained and will sleep in bed with us all night long with no disruptions. She loves other dogs and is great with our cats too. We have a cattle dog boarding right now who has been a fun playmate for her, and they are having a blast. She’s young, playful, and active, but not overly so. She needs a commitment to daily walks and playtime and would do best with a pup playmate in her home. She’s gentle and submissive with the other dogs and loves to cuddle with us and our dogs too. We have started crating her when we leave her home alone because she can be a little mischievous and get into things. We’ve been feeding her in the crate to reinforce that it is a safe, positive space, and we always leave her with a bone or high-value treat to entertain her. Mary is honestly perfect for a family that wants a young dog. She’s totally trainable and so, so sweet. Once someone meets her I know they’ll fall in love.” Apply today! Adopt Mary and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mary's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mary's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mary, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mary's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mary was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mary’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mary’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mary’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
