About this Dog
IN VERMONT Meet Tanya (of Tonk & Tanya)! https://youtu.be/B36n49--_B4 Tanya is 11 months old, female (approx. DOB 6-25-24), 26 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. From her new foster mom after 3 days: "They are both very smart and have clearly done some training. Know how to sit, shake, and down without any prompting (you hold a treat and they both just start doing them until they get it. It’s very cute) Have had zero indoor accidents so far, so we would say possibly potty trained as well. Tonk definitely has more energy of the two, while Tanya can settle down more easily. They have done well with kids (subject to parents supervision). UPDATE / From Tanya's VT foster: Tanya is a fun sized little pup that’s so smart and adorable! She absolutely LOVES toys and will play even by herself throwing them all around. She does well with other dogs and knows a good amount of tricks for her young age. She can sit, shake, lay down, and come when called. She is very confident on her own and will take charge of the play if other dogs are around. She’s the perfect size for anyone looking for a bigger lap dog who’s also ready to play whenever you are! Stay tuned for more information as Tanya is a new rescue! If you are interested in adopting Tanya please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks! Please note Fosters have 1st option of Adoption. Check out her Facebook page (please "Like" us while you are there)!

Adopt Tanya and Receive Tanya's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tanya's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tanya's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tanya, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tanya's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tanya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tanya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tanya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tanya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
