About this Dog
IN VERMONT Meet Copper (of siblings Lilly & Copper)! Copper is 2 years old, male (approx. DOB 3-4-22), 45 lbs., vetted, is or will neutered and micro-chipped. Lilly and Copper found themselves in an unfortunate situation when they owner/mom in Kentucky received the devastating news, she has terminal cancer. We watched the posts begging for help from a P4P adopter, who was trying to help her friend know her dogs would be ok. Fast forward, no one stepped up to help by the deadline and the local shelters were at capacity. They had an appt at a vet to be pts. We did step up. Their mom has since passed away, knowing her babies were saved. Now, we need your help to find them forever homes. They are petrified in boarding and confused. Per Copper's foster: He is a really, really nice, loyal, smart dog. His favorite place is lying on my feet. Stay tuned for more information as Copper is a new rescue! If you are interested in adopting Copper or Lilly and Copper please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks! Please note Fosters have 1st option of Adoption. Check out his Facebook page (please "Like" us while you are there)!

Adopt Copper and Receive Copper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Copper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Copper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Copper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Copper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Copper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Copper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Copper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Copper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
