About this Dog
IN VERMONT Meet St. Nick! https://youtu.be/gXHSZd9ifGs St. Nick is 6 years old, male (approx. DOB TBD), 55 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and microchipped. Nick was dumped and abandoned on the side to fend for himself in NC completely emaciated, in dire need of medical attention, and almost close to dying, asking for help on someone's doorstep; but gives nothing but love and forgiveness to everyone he meets. We could not resist this special deserving boy once we saw his personality through every picture and saved him just before New Year's! We've gotten him healthy and now he is ready to meet his forever family! Nick is a very gentle and friendly boy; his expressions tell it all. He kennels well, has a moderate energy level, appears to be potty trained, is social with other dogs, and is clearly grateful for another chance at life! Nick's happiness after everything he's been through is contagious and brings us a smile every time we see him. From his temp foster in VT, "They said he did awesome (at doggy daycare). He got a little overwhelmed a couple of times (energy) and they just gave him a break for a bit and he was fine and right back in the mix. Mind you, they had 60 dogs there yesterday! He was super excited to go there this morning; he knew exactly what we were doing and where we were going. He is incredibly intelligent. Some of the games we play to get him in the crate don't work so well anymore. He does need that downtime though. Think of him as a toddler who doesn't know when it is time to nap. And there isn't a person or dog on this earth that he doesn't want to meet. He is like a politician, wants to shake hands with everyone and kiss every baby. Nothing but tail wags and smiles." Stay tuned for more information as St. Nick is a new rescue! Adopt St. Nick and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, St. Nick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is St. Nick's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the St. Nick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming St. Nick's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and St. Nick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, St. Nick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the St. Nick’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, St. Nick’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
