About this Dog
Welcome Lizzy to CCPAL Rescue. Lizzy is an 8-month old Jack Rat (Rat Terrier/Jack Russel). She looks more like a Rat Terrier and has the coat of a Rat Terrier. She is about 12 pounds and is a small dog with a soft flat coat. She is a lower shedding dog and would make a great walking companion. She is good in your lap and is confident, social, outgoing, affectionate and adorable. She is a nice lap companion and I do believe she will bond deeply and want to be near her human. She is great with other dogs. People love Rat Terriers for a reason. She is in the puppy play group with girls, boys and dogs bigger and older than she is. I would think her breed would love to chase squirrels out of the yard. She is good in his kennel and not overly vocal. She is getting her vaccines and will be spayed and ready for her forever home soon. She is adorable. She would be fine as a family dog with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is fine with baths and nail trims. She is learning leash manners. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to [email protected] if you have questions. Adopt Lizzy and Receive Lizzy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lizzy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lizzy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lizzy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lizzy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lizzy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lizzy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lizzy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lizzy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
