About this Dog
Welcome Daphne to CCPAL Rescue. Daphne is a 10-pound Wirehaired Dachshund mix. She is 1 year old sweetie. She would be a great walking companion. She has a sturdy body and likes being held. She is adorable. Dachshunds normally bond deeply to one person in the household most. We do think she will have some similar behaviors once she is in her new forever home. She is a really nice young dog and she will make a nice companion dog for a family. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is good with other dogs and good in a kennel. We are working with her on leash manners. She is using a leash for the first time here at the Rescue. She is getting her vaccines and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She was found as a stray with her sister and would up at one of the shelters that was out of space and she and her sister were on the list for euthanasia. CCPAL stepped up for both dogs. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to [email protected] if you have questions. Adopt Daphne and Receive Daphne's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daphne's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Daphne's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Daphne, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daphne's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daphne was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daphne’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daphne’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daphne’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
