About this Dog
If you need more sweetness and snuggles in your life - and who doesn't these days - I can help you out! My name is Lilly, and I'm a 3.5-year-old lab mix (about 45 pounds) who has been patiently - most of the time - waiting for a home to call my own for nearly a year! I am objectively adorable, sweet and will bring joy to any room I enter, and it is one of life's great mysteries as to why I haven't found my pack yet! I am a gem! I express my enthusiasm for life through my love of fetch, squeaky toys and head scratches. I'm an active girl who would love to go on walks, runs or hikes, but I also just love to chase a ball and snuggle with my people. I am crate trained, potty trained and I just learned to use a doggy door while at a temporary foster's home. I've completed several weeks of training, and I know basic commands and I'm perfecting others! I am walking quite well in a harness, and I mostly ignore passing dogs. I get along with other dogs off leash, and sometimes I play with them. But I really love my people and my toys. I live with several cats, and I ignore and even get along with the one who doesn't run. Sometimes I'm tempted to chase the runner, so confident cat-dogs are probably ok for me to live with. I get along with kids, and I really love older children because they can be enticed into playing with me! I have some allergies, but they've been easily controlled through my diet (basically I avoid chicken, turkey and low-quality treats). I have lost some sight in one of my eyes due to an injury, and it used to make me a little hesitant or jumpy, but I've been working on training and exposure to new situations, and I'm pretty much a rockstar when it comes to novelty these days. I am curious and gentle, although I am - as all labs are - enthusiastic about almost everything. I am an absolute joy to be around, and I promise to brighten all your days, make every adventure more fun, and keep you fit and safe if you'll just give me a place to call home. I deserve all the loyalty and love I am so willing to give anyone and everyone. I'd love the chance to win your heart! To meet me, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Lilly's adoption fee is $200. Adopt Lilly and Receive Lilly's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lilly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lilly's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lilly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lilly's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lilly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lilly’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lilly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lilly’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
