About this Dog
Meet Chopper! A 3 year old, 40ish #, super sweet, extra loyal and loving- blue heeler mix that adores attention and cuddles. Chopper thinks everyone is his best friend, and has enthusiastic body wiggles when he wags his tail. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to play and wrestle with his dog friends, and also loves a good cuddle on the couch with his humans. He loves to jump around and try to do silly aerial acrobatics at dinner time and is just a funny and fun boy to have around. Chopper was a community dog on a local Utah tribal reservation, and was rescued after he needed emergency surgery for doing the tango with an extra prickly porcupine. He can be slightly timid in new situations but never wavers from being sweet and loving! Chopper is excellent on leash, is house and crate trained, and loads beautifully into the car for adventures. Chopper is a wonderful dog with a huge personality, he is ready to be the very best companion! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Chopper, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application. Adopt Chopper and Receive Chopper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chopper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Chopper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Chopper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chopper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chopper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chopper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chopper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chopper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
