He’s a quiet, gentle companion who would love nothing more than a cozy spot to relax in and a loving family to dote on him.With a low energy level, Calvin is the ultimate couch potato. He enjoys daily walks but isn’t one for wild adventures—he’s perfectly content taking life at a slower pace. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. While he gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, he does appreciate his personal space when he’s snoozing and may give a little growl if another dog gets too close to his bed.Calvin has no teeth, so he’ll need soft food, and he takes daily medication for arthritis and past seizures to keep him comfortable. But don’t worry—his sweet nature and loving personality more than make up for his tiny quirks!Whether you live in an apartment or a house, Calvin will be the perfect fit as long as he has a warm bed, gentle care, and someone to appreciate his adorable, quiet presence. If you’re looking for a mellow, easygoing companion who will melt your heart with just one look, Calvin is ready to be your new best friend! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Calvin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Calvin’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Calvin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Calvin’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
