Hi there! My name is Nacho. I am a small chihuahua mix and true to my breed I am the perfect mixture of sassy and sweet. I can be a little timid with new humans but warm up quick with treats. I take pride in making my foster mom laugh every day with my antics. I get so excited when I see my people and will get zoomies all over the house. I enjoy a nice morning walk around the neighborhood and then I am quite content just hanging out around the house. I love to snuggle up on the couch too. I am indifferent to dogs my own size but big dogs make me incredibly nervous and cause me to be a little snappy. I bark a little at people coming and going but am otherwise a perfect little house guest. Crate trained and potty trained. So a home with only little dogs or no dogs is preferable. If you are looking for a little spice and laughter in your life, I am definitely your guy. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nacho was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nacho’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nacho’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nacho’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
