Hello! My name is Wolfie. It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm a female, long-haired German Shepherd mix and I'm approximately 10 years old. I'm looking for a safe, loving home to live out the remainder of my golden years. I'm a gentle giant! I currently weigh in at 75 lbs but all 75 lbs are full of heart and sweetness. I love other animals, and get along beautifully with cats and dogs. I've lived with dogs of all sizes and ages, and do well with everyone! I am also amazing with kids! I currently live with a toddler, and I'm a patient, gentle playmate! I'd do well with kids of any age. I am very calm, and quiet. My foster family has not heard me bark at all yet, and my favorite activity is to lounge around the house! I am not crate trained, but a crate won't be necessary for me. I am completely potty trained, and I am not destructive at all! You can leave me home alone, and be confident that everything will be a-okay! I can't wait to find my forever home, and I'm hopeful that my age won't scare you away! With age comes experience, and I'm a very well rounded, mature dog. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wolfie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wolfie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wolfie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wolfie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
