Hi! My name is Panda Prowler, but my friends just call me Panda! I am a very handsome and VERY sweet little boy. I weigh just under 10lbs and I have a puppy face, and the shelter said I was only about 3 years old, but the vet recently said I’m probably closer to about 6. I have good strong teeth and clear, bright eyes and the cutest little shorty legs. I’m told I’m cute all the time, but don’t worry, I’m not vain. I came from a home with lots of other dogs. TOO MANY other dogs. I’ve heard it called a “hoarding situation.” It was just home to me (even though it was definitely uncomfortable at times) and now everything is different. Foster mom says I’m adjusting well, but I’m still shy with new humans. I really want to be loved, though and I’m learning that people are actually really nice! I love other dogs. Love them. Big and small – I’m a fan. I love to play and I love toys. I am crate trained (seems like maybe I spent a lot of time in my crate in my before life) and I’m working on the potty training. I am not a barker. I am such a nice little boy. I just need a family to care for me and love me and I know I will return all that love and so much more. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Panda Prowler was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Panda Prowler’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Panda Prowler’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Panda Prowler’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
