Hello! My name is Sweet Mele (meh-leh), Mele for short, and I'm looking for my forever home! I'm a female 4.5 month old Cattle Dog mix, weighing in at a whopping 27 lbs of cuteness and muscle. Based on my age and current weight, I'm expected to weigh up to 60-80 lbs. My ideal day would consist of spending time outside with my dog friends, eating a yummy snack and cuddling up to you! I'm as sweet as can be, I'm beautiful and I will make an amazing companion! I am friendly with other dogs and cats, and I'm a social butterfly! I love meeting strangers and getting some extra love! I'm crate trained and nearly completely potty trained. I sometimes have accidents in my crate or the house if I cannot get outside in time so going outside regularly will be very important to me. It will also be important for my family to help me with my development. I'm a high energy, playful puppy, and I need more training to be a well rounded family member. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sweet Mele was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sweet Mele’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sweet Mele’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sweet Mele’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
