About this Dog
Hi! My name is Appa and I’d love to be your puppy! But I promise I would continue to love you even when I’m older! I have so much fun playing with other puppies, but if they get too rough, I let them know, regardless of their size. I’m the smallest in my house but likely won’t stay that way. My breed is unknown and I will likely be on the larger side. Lots of people say I might have some Great Pyrenees in me. I started life in a shelter and finally found a foster home but immediately got really sick. My foster mom worried so much about me and would cry every morning when she woke up and found that I was still there with her. I recovered and am making up for the time I was sick by playing and eating and learning every second I can. I recently learned that it’s really easy to climb the play pen. Neither of my foster brothers can do that and they are bigger and older. I only climb it when my foster mom is getting my breakfast. Or lunch. Or dinner. Or if I just really need to see what she is doing. She says I’m her furry shadow. She doesn’t seem to mind too much though because I don’t chew things up and I’m potty trained so don’t make messes in the house. I also know how to use the doggie door and I sleep all night. I do like to get up early though because the sooner my foster mom gets up the sooner I get breakfast. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is being with people. I’m always trying my best to follow my foster mom around and be with her even when she’s busy with other things. I love to be held by her and to snuggle. When she is near, I immediately roll on my back and am ready for a belly rub. That’s just the best! Boy, do I like to eat! My foster mom started using a slow feed bowl so I could learn to savor my food. That’s probably my only fault. Well, to be honest, I sometimes use my outdoor voice if my foster mom has ignored me for too long. After all, I’m just a puppy! I like other puppies, kids, and am around cats. But I mostly ignore cats because they don’t seem to want to play with me. Adopt me here! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Adopt Appa and Receive Appa's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Appa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Appa's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Appa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Appa's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Appa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Appa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Appa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Appa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
