Dodson 703-309-4340George is fiercely loyal and loving. He is kind and playful and listens incredibly well. He loves to be by your side and is ready to accompany you on any adventure. George loves off leash hikes, camping, and being in wide open space, but also loves to curl up on his bed or snuggle for hours. George gets along with cats great and is best buds with any dog he has become familiar with and does not feel is a threat to the people he loves. That being said, he can be aggressive towards unfamiliar dogs encroaching on his territory or around his beloved owners. This is something that he should work with a trainer or an attentive dog owner on. George is neutered and very healthy. He is chipped and up to date on all shots. He is in need of a family that will give him love and attention and is willing to work with him to resolve his aggressio n towards unfamiliar dogs. That piece aside, he is the perfect companion and will bring immense love and character to your life.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and GEORGE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, GEORGE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the GEORGE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, GEORGE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
