Please say hello to Fender! This perpetually happy fella will greet you each day with a non-stop wagging tail – how wonderful is that?! Fender adores people and just wants to please. He enjoys leisurely strolls around the sanctuary and has excellent leash manners. But he also doesn’t mind being chauffeured around in the car to explore the neighborhood. Our fetching senior guy has mellowed with age so he’s also perfectly content being a couch potato while you watch your favorite television show or read a good book. Fender’s favorite time of day is mealtime so be sure to load up on treats. He is skilled at food puzzles to keep him enriched and his brain working – he’s one smart boy! Did you know he came to the sanctuary from Las Vegas, so the odds are in your favor that you will fall in love with him as much as we have. We are wishing for lady luck to shine on Fender to find a loving family to call his own – we know you’ll hit the jackpot with this handsome boy!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Fender's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fender was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fender’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fender’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fender’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
