Kaiju came to us as an urgent boy needing to be pulled from a Utah shelter. He was so stressed there he'd stopped eating. He went to a foster home where they hoped he would be the right fit to add to their family and he spent several months getting healthy. Kaiju has had entropion surgery and recovered from 2 UTI's, also been neutered. His foster family feel with Kaiju's need for very slow intro's to new people and the traffic of people in their home, they're not the right fit for him. He is a very smart boy, very typical Akbash. Strong and protective of his family, and so goofy and loving too! Kaiju does great with the female Akbash in the home but does need to be fed alone. He also chases cats! He is a chill 5 year old most of the time and would love to find his forever home. He's currently in Utah.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kaiju/Glacier was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kaiju/Glacier’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kaiju/Glacier’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kaiju/Glacier’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
