Romeo Est. DOB 4/2025 Adoption fee: $225 Romeo is such a lovebug, hence his name! He and his 5 siblings (Casanova, Rocky, Hudson, Angel, and Chloe) were rescued from a trapping project of over 40 cats. They are all fun, playful kittens who love to cuddle and give and receive LOVE! They are all kid, cat, and dog friendly - they love everyone! Romeo is the baby of the bunch and wants nothing more than to be held or curl up in your lap. He also enjoys nuzzling into your neck and giving kisses while purring loudly. His favorite spot to be is wrapped around your neck getting scratches! He was a bottle baby, so he tends to suckle on blankets and will also try to nurse on your arm if you let him. He adores his siblings and is often cuddled up with them. They run and play together, chasing balls and feather toys. He doesn't like to be alone! This sweet boy just wants to love and be loved. Are you ready to experience the incredible bond of a rescue cat? Romeo needs to be adopted with one of his siblings or go to a home with another young cat to play with. The first step in our adoption process is the application, which can be found on our website, lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been microchipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out-of-state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

Adopt Romeo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Romeo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Romeo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Romeo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Romeo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Romeo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
