Meet Socks! Socks is a 4-month-old Border Collie mix with a happy heart, a wagging tail, and the cutest white tootsies that zoom around the house when she’s excited! She’s a sweet, affectionate pup who loves being close to her humans and gets along wonderfully with other resident animals. This smart girl walks well on a leash, rides quietly in the car, and is already working hard on her basic manners. She knows “sit” and is learning “off” — she does like to jump up when she’s excited, but it’s all out of love (she’s really just asking for a hug!). Socks is also great at entertaining herself with toys, antlers, and bones when you’re busy. She’s doing fantastic with potty training and will let you know she needs to go out by whining near the door. She’s crate trained too, and is calm and quiet while crated. Socks would thrive in a family home with room to run and play. She adores children and other dogs (cats are unknown) and would love someone to continue guiding her as she grows into her best self. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Socks's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Socks was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Socks’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
