Hi there, I'm Otsubo! I was born approximately 1/11/2024 and I'm a sleek, short-haired black male with a big personality. I came to Wild Blue Cats after a kind lady found me on the side of the road. She wanted to help me but already had her hands full with her own cats and some health challenges, so she made sure I landed in the right place to find my forever family. I love to play! Wand toys, bouncy balls, little mice, laser dots... if it moves, I'm chasing it! I also really enjoy rough-and-tumble play with other cats, though I can be a bit intense sometimes. Once I've worn myself out, I'm all about the cozy life. I adore window napping and soaking up sunbeams, and I'm always happy to receive gentle pets and scratches, especially when I'm in a chill mood. I even enjoy lap time, but like any independent young guy, it has to be on my terms. I'll let you know when I'm ready to snuggle, and when it's time to get back to playtime! One thing you should know: I got the nickname "Dasher" in my previous home because I've got a thing for doors. If you're not paying attention, I might just try to dash right through, so I'll need a home where my people are careful and quick on their toes. Safety first! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Otsubo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Otsubo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Otsubo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Otsubo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
