Meet Lucy – Your Loyal, Loving Adventure Buddy!Lucy is a smart, affectionate, and outgoing Catahoula mix with a gorgeous coat, stunning eyes, and a heart full of love for her people. At 2.5 years old and about 60 lbs, she’s the perfect blend of playful energy and mellow companionship—always ready for a walk, a game of fetch, or a good cuddle on the couch. She’s crate-trained, house-trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on leash. Lucy is well-mannered in the home, doesn’t jump, and is great at entertaining herself with her favorite toys—especially plush ones she can de-stuff! Lucy loves attention and thrives when she’s the center of a human’s world. While she enjoys playtime in the yard, her ideal home would be one without other dogs. She’s shown ongoing reactivity toward other dogs, especially inside the home, and while she’s improved on walks, she’s not a candidate for dog parks or multi-dog households. She is good with cats and children, and responds well to structure, guidance, and routine. She would do best in a moderately active home with adults or older teens and no other animals.Lucy is a fast learner who’s eager to please and incredibly affectionate once she bonds with you. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be by your side, share your routine, and bring a little extra joy to your day. Adopt Lucy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lucy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
