Well, can I just tell you—I’m living my best life at this place called “The Ranch”! Me and my buddy Sully are having the time of our lives, zooming around like nobody’s business! Sure, we struggle to keep up with the big dogs, and that gets a little frustrating sometimes… but when that happens, we just let out our signature beagle howl. It usually makes the volunteers laugh—unless they’re trying to hose us down and tell us to be quiet. But hey—we’re beagles! We were born to sing! If you love beagles and want to have some serious fun, Sully and I would LOVE to meet you. Our past wasn’t so great. We lived with a human who hurt us. He also ran a cockfighting ring. One day, people in uniforms showed up and took him away. Then more people came and took us away—to a noisy, scary place that, honestly, felt almost as bad as where we came from. But then something amazing happened—we got loaded into a vehicle with soft beds and fans blowing cool air, and we took a long ride to this magical place called The Ranch. And now? Life is GOOD. Actually… it’s very cool.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mac's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mac was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mac’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mac’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mac’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
