About this Dog
Breezy and siblings (the Summer Resort litter) were the result of an "oops" litter that ended up in a crowded shelter. Mom is a Black GSD and dad is a Black & Tan GSD. When these sweet babies landed at the shelter, they were skinny, and covered up in fleas and scabs. They have now received vet care and they are thriving in their foster homes. Breezy is a gorgeous puppy who likes toys and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is super friendly with all the dogs in her foster home despite the fact that they are so much bigger than her. She gets along just fine with the house cat too, and follows the grandkids around as if she is watching over them. She's doing well with potty-training. She's a sweet, beautiful girl, who's a snuggle bug. Breezy's adoption fee is $450, all of which goes back into offseting our high-cost vetting expenses and rescuing more dogs. We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue group and rely on adoption fees and donations to continue saving lives. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, current on age- appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, heartworm tested if old enough (and treated if positive), and microchipped. Please visit http://heartlandgsrescue.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption for more information about our adoption process and requirements, and to apply. Like all GSDs, and other herding breeds that we have in rescue, Breezy will need training, consistency, boundaries, and lots of activity and socialization, in order to be a well-balanced, well-behaved dog. This sweet boy would make a great addition to an active home that will provide the love, structure, good leadership, activity and mental stimulation that he needs. Because of that, Breezy's ideal owner will have prior GSD, or other similar breed experience. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, please remember that you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings, in order to provide sufficient stimulation, ward off boredom, and work on leash skills and manners.

Adopt Breezy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Breezy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Breezy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Breezy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Breezy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Breezy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Breezy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Breezy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Breezy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
