Welcome Toby to CCPAL Rescue. Toby is a 3 year old Chiweenie. He has the look of a Chihuahua mostly. He has upright ears and is decent on a leash. He weighs about 10 pounds. He came from a hoarder here in Texas. He is stiff when you pick him up. It seems he is not very accustomed to being held. He is good with other dogs and has long enough legs that he would be a great walking companion. He came in with heartworms and we have started the treatment. He will be ready to leave the rescue in about a month. He is a nice dog. He isn’t too clingy and has the right amount of independence to be a wonderful companion. He would love to get more attention and I think if you want a lap dog could learn to sit in your lap. It would be natural in his breed mixes. He is decent in a crate and overall a very good dog. He has been around larger dogs and did fine. I would think he would be great for a senior or someone who wants and easier dog and one that requires only a small amount of exercise and a smaller yard space. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting his vaccinations and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. . Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Toby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Toby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Toby’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
