Meet Suzy! Suzy is approximately 8 years old, 15 lbs currently and she likely has some Chihuahua in her mix! She was surrendered after her person had too many dogs. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. She is very shy and will need a patient adopter who can help her continue to come out of her shell. Her foster says, "Suzy is a smart dog who appears not to have had a lot of training. She loves attention and being petted. She really just wants to be with her person. She walks well on the leash, but can be distracted. She is curious about new things and will stop to watch birds, or neighbors mowing the grass. She is very eager to please and is learning to sit. Suzy loves treats and comes when called. She has not had any accidents in the house since the first day and has never had an accident in the crate. Give her a little attention and she will be your shadow. She is amazing with my two dogs, one who loves playing with her and one who just wants to be left alone." She is available for adoption in Medford or Hopkinton by appointment. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Suzy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Suzy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Suzy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
