My name is Gouda, but I’m far from cheesy! I’m a handsome, ginger 'tree dweller' with a fluffy white belly as warm and soft as a loaf of freshly baked bread. Pet me just right, and you’re treated to a thunderous purr that surely must be coming from a boy twice my size (though I’m a healthy 5-1/2 pounds at the time of this writing). When introduced to new surroundings, I’m no scaredy-cat; I fancy a bit of exploring to the top of the closet or the base of the wicker shelf. But when I sit atop my favorite perch, the uppermost floor of the cat tower, I happily wage an aerial assault against my favorite toy: that fake bird on a string. Just watch me catch it and confidently strut off like the cat who swallowed the canary. My birthday was around March 15, 2025, as it was for my brother Muffin. We could come as a ready bonded pair! We'd love to be adopted together if possible. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gouda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gouda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gouda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
