Meet Niblet – From Neglect to New Beginnings Niblet’s before pictures will break your heart. He came into a crowded kill shelter covered in pounds of painful, matted hair—his tiny body barely able to move, his face completely hidden behind mats. He was in agony and completely overlooked simply because of how he looked. But when we saw his picture, we knew we had to act. He deserved a second chance.Now safe in foster care and fully shaved down, Niblet is like a brand-new pup—comfortable, cared for, and finally getting to enjoy life.Niblet is a 2-year-old, 7-pound sweetheart with a gentle, laid-back personality. He’s more reserved than his former kennel mate but just as deserving of love. Niblet gets along well with other dogs and uses pee pads reliably. He’s still learning to walk on a leash, but he’s doing great with a routine and gentle guidance.Niblet is also heartworm positive, but he has already started treatment, and BCAA will cover the full cost. He would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can continue to heal and be doted on at his own pace. After such a rough start, Niblet is finally ready for the soft, safe life he’s always deserved. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Niblet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Niblet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Niblet’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Niblet’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
