About this Dog
Penelope is the smallest of her litter, but don’t let her size fool you—this girl is full of spirit and spunk! She's a sweet little pup who adores being held, snuggled, and loved on. Penelope has a cute curly tail, makes excellent puppy eyes when cuddling, and often sits between your feet, sneakily licking your legs just to stay connected.Though still learning the ropes when it comes to house-training, she is used to being crated at night. Leash walks are a work in progress—right now she can only manage about half a block—so she’ll need patient adopters to help her build confidence and learn the basics. Penelope is eager to please and full of potential!Penelope is a big fan of kids (especially the 2- and 6-year-old in her foster home) and happily soaks up their attention and cuddles. She’s enthusiastic when meeting other dogs and loves to play, though she still needs some help learning how to calmly greet neighbor pups. She hasn't met any cats yet. While she enjoys cuddles, she’s especially fond of squeaky toys, wrestling with her siblings, and running around the yard like a little whirlwind before crashing for a well-earned nap. She’d love a home with a yard or access to the outdoors, but it’s not required as long as she gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.Penelope’s got a lot to say! Because of her noise level, she cannot live in apartments or townhomes (no shared walls). She also doesn’t enjoy being left alone, so she’d do best in a home with people who can spend lots of time with her or with another playful pup to show her the ropes and help burn off that endless energy. After a tough start in life, Penelope is ready for a fresh chapter. She’s looking for a family to call her own—one that will welcome her playful spirit and let her charm her way into their hearts. If you are interested in Penelope, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adopt Penelope and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Penelope's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Penelope's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Penelope, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Penelope's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Penelope was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Penelope’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Penelope’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Penelope’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
