About this Dog
Maisey is a sweet, goofy girl who loves to be a lap dog! Discovered as a stray, she’s blossoming in foster care—learning to play, enjoy walks, and be part of a family. She sometimes rolls on a blanket and grunts and wiggles to get it just right before she snuggles in!Maisey adjusted well to her new foster home in large part due to being near her humans often. She’s happiest when near her people, whether that’s curled up in your lap or walking side by side around the neighborhood. Maisey crates easily at night but during the day would prefer to be out and about. She has subtle signals for needing to go outside which may very rarely lead to an accident, but she is still in training. During the day, she prefers being in a cozy area of the house over a crate and does just fine left alone for short periods. She is overall quiet and well-behaved.Maisey is great with other dogs but may need some supervision when other dogs are around at meal time. She matches the energy of other dogs, so proper introductions are recommended to set them both up for success. She is neutral toward cats and has done great with children, calmly soaking up affection from neighborhood kids.Maisey would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, and she’d love nothing more than being your constant sidekick. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will always be by your side (or on your lap), Maisey might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in Maisey, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Adopt Maisey and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maisey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Maisey's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Maisey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maisey's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maisey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maisey’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Maisey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maisey’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
