About this Cat
AMETHYST hails from the Dryden area and came south along with her mum, Gem and her Gemettes, Tiger Eye and Zircon, to find her loving forever home. She’s had her first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. This beautiful girl is your typical active Calico who loves to be busy and play with all types of cat toys. She’ll sit with her foster but not for long as she soon wants to get back to playing with her toys and siblings. AMETHYST is litter box trained and she’s never had an accident outside of the box. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food but her favourite thing of all is to eat Temptations treats especially just before she’s told it’s bedtime and nite, nite. She tends to like playing more with the stuffie type cat toys but will also chase the balls around that have a little bell in them. She’s in a foster home with puppies so would be comfortable in a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made. There’s also a cat in the foster home so she would suit being with another cat. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. AMETHYST’s spay will be performed at 4 months of age and will be booked by the time of her adoption. We do need her adopter to be committed to being available to bring her to Barrie for her spay appointment. Her spay can be done at her adopters own vet clinic and the rescue will reimburse what we would’ve paid for it at the Barrie SPCA. However, it would still have to be performed in the same timeframe to receive the reimbursement and we also need a copy of the spay invoice. We also require a picture of her and preferably in her onsie or cone as we post pictures of our animals when they get spay/neutered on our fb page. If you would like to meet AMETHYST then please put in an adoption application to do so.

Adopt AMETHYST and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, AMETHYST's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is AMETHYST's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the AMETHYST, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming AMETHYST's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and AMETHYST was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, AMETHYST’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the AMETHYST’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, AMETHYST’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
