About this Dog
Bane, a small guy weighing 17 pounds, was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. He is an Airedale mix with black and tan coloring with the typical medium curly fur you would expect of an Airedale. He is a year and six months old.Airedale mixes are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and playfulness. They often are high energy and like lots of exercise. But then, he is a mix, so it will be interesting to see what other personality traits he has.Bane enjoys playing in the company of other dogs. He is comfortable with the kids. It is not known if he has met a cat.Little information was provided about him because he was pulled from another shelter (which probably saved his life). So, it would be best to start with a refresher course in house, leash, and crate training.Bane will need someone who will be comfortable training a young adult dog. He will need the right guidance mixed with consistency, repetition, and patience. Cheerful praise and lots of treats will go a long way in helping him master those daily routines. Daily walks will support leash skills as well as socialization skills. (It will also be an opportunity to find out what commands he knows). It will be a new world to him with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along his walk. A secure back yard would give him free time to play and burn off extra energy. At home he will benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. That will keep him from being bored. Wrap this boy up in your arms and feel the love intensify. Bane is ready to become a part of your life.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Bane is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Bane and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bane's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bane's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bane, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bane's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bane’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bane’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
