Carter is a playful little explorer with a sweet nature and a big heart. While he may start off a little shy, don’t let that fool you—once he warms up, this curious boy becomes a loving cuddlebug, especially when he’s all tuckered out from playtime. He loves to play, especially with crinkle balls, string toys, and wrestling matches with his brother Cowboy. Carter also has a soft spot for belly rubs (yes, he actually likes them!) and will happily curl up in your lap during a good TV binge—as long as it doesn’t cut into playtime, of course.Carter would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he has time to get comfortable and plenty of love once he does. He was raised in a multicat home and gets along well with other cats, fish, and plants! He enjoys watching the world go by and is perfectly happy entertaining himself, but don’t be surprised if he suddenly hops in your lap or follows you around for some affection. Adopt Carter and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Carter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Carter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Carter’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Carter’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
