Aroooooo! I’m a beagle — and oh boy, do I have a story to tell! I came from a very scary home where the man beat us. There were seven of us beagles living there! He was running a cockfighting ring (ugh, so awful), and it was just… sad. Then one day — BAM! Lots of cars showed up with flashing lights, they took the mean man away, and some really nice people scooped us up and brought us to this big, noisy building. We were soooo scared. (Okay… we’re still a little scared. Baby steps, okay?) But then 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue came to the rescue! They took six of us, and our seventh friend — who was pregnant! — went to a rescue closer by so she didn’t have to make the long trip. Now I’m with the best foster mom and dad. They go slow with us, give us space when we need it, and when we’re ready? They shower us with these magical things called “pets & loving.” Let me tell you… it’s VERY nice. 10/10, highly recommend. ✨ For the first time ever, I think life might just be okay.

Adopt Teddy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Teddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
