Apple is a 1.5 year old female Lab mix, who is ready to be your loyal companion and new best friend! This friendly girl loves being with people and is always so happy when she is taken out for a walk. After an initial bit of energy out of her cage, she quickly settles in and walks nicely on a leash. Her cheerful, easygoing nature is sure to bring joy to your days. This sweet girl is fine just going with the flow … so whether it’s lounging around together, or heading out for an adventure with you, Apple is happy to be a part of whatever you’re doing. She recently had a doggie play session with another dog (Kendall), and the two enjoyed roaming the park and resting quietly in the shade together. In a similar way, Apple mainly likes to spend her time with people just hanging out, basking in peaceful companionship with her favorite humans. She has a way of enjoying the simple things in life, and making everything better with her sweet easy-going nature. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Apple's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Apple was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Apple’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
