About this Dog
Meet Azzy! She is around 3 years old and a petite black Lab and possibly Hound mix. She is a medium sized girl around 35 lbs with long legs and glossy black fur. Azzy was rescued from a hoarding situation and is a gentle hearted girl. True to her Lab breed, she likes to play with stuffed toys, splash in water and rarely says no to food. She also loves to play with other dogs and seems to do better when one of her dog buddies is around. We think she'd do best in a home with a confident dog sibling to play with and show her the way. She is learning the kindness of humans and that pets are nice and people can be good. She recently moved to a foster home where she now wags her tail when she sees her foster parents and accepts pets and attention from them, but isn't a snuggler and doesn't care for hugs and being smothered. Right now, fast movements and loud noises startle her and kids are a bit too busy for her so would do best in a quieter home and with no children under 10 years old. She is looking for a patient and experienced family familiar with shy dogs who can work on socializing her with people and other animals. She is still becoming familiar with a leash and is slowly opening up more each day but would do best in a home with her own backyard right now to do her business. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Azzy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Azzy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Azzy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
