About this Cat
Lovely lady Barca is single and ready to mingle- she's looking for her forever home! Barca is around 1-2 years old and was found stray in West Philly! She previously had some adorable little babies in tow but they have flown the coop and no longer need her, so now she's looking for her own family to love on her! Barca has begun treatment for suspected ringworm, a fungal infection that can cause little patches of hairloss. With treatment, her fur will regrow, and thus far her case seems minor, thankfully! Ringworm care can actually be a breeze with the right set-up and if you have the time to dedicate to it, but can be a bit tedious since it can spread easily to any living creature and requires some caution to prevent that. Ideally we would love to find a home without any really young kids or other pets, just to limit the risk of exposure, unless the home has enough space to keep everyone fully and safely separated. PAWS provides all of the medications and other treatments needed at our clinic, so please read through the info linked below and if you feel like your home would be a fit you can apply and reach out to us to learn more! Age: 1-2 years How I came to PAWS: found stray, then transferred to PAWS from a partner organization Animal ID#: A179825 Location: PAWS Grays Ferry Clinic. This is not a walk-in facility, so please email [email protected] to set up a time to meet this kitty! **This pet is currently being treated for ringworm, a mild fungal infection of the skin that usually clears up within 6-8 weeks of starting treatment. All the follow-up care we provide for your ringworm pet is free of charge at a PAWS facility while they finish their treatment with you, and we are with you every step of the way! You can learn more about adopting a pet with ringworm here.** **Because this pet isn't yet altered, they are only eligible for adoption via our Pre-Adopt program, which will require an extra verification step as well as a $100 deposit per animal that is fully refunded after their spay/neuter surgeries. Any additional questions about this can be covered when you reach out about them!**

Adopt Barca and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Barca's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Barca's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Barca, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Barca's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Barca was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Barca’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Barca’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Barca’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
