Meet Hercules! Boxer/Lab Mix | ~26 lbs | Born ~Feb 16 Hercules might sound like a big name, but this guy is all heart and charm. At around 5 months old, this sweet Boxer/Lab mix is the total package—smart, snuggly, playful, and incredibly easy to love. Hercules is coming along beautifully with his potty training, is eager to learn, and picks up on new routines quickly. He knows his name and comes running when called, tail wagging and ready for love. He’s also a big fan of toys, and when he’s not busy playing, he’s more than happy to curl up for a snuggle session. Hercules does great in a kennel and currently sleeps loose in the bedroom with the resident Labrador. If he needs to go in the middle of the night, he uses his potty pad like a pro. He gets along wonderfully with the Labrador and even likes the outdoor cat! While he’d do well in a variety of homes—whether with other pets, kids, or a single person—his ideal match would be someone who’s home much of the day and has kids 8 and older to match his gentle, playful energy. Hercules is truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime pups. He’s smart, sweet, adaptable, and ready to become someone’s perfect companion. . The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hercules's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hercules was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hercules’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hercules’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
