Hey, Iâm Tom â and yep, Iâm still here. I showed up at ACS back in January 2025⦠and Iâve been waiting ever since. Iâm 5 years old, full of energy, super smart, and honestly? Kind of a catch. I pick up commands faster than you can say âsit,â and I love having a job to do. Training, fetch, agility, hikesâIâm all in. If you're the outdoorsy or sporty type, weâll be best buds in no time. I get really excited when people visit, so yeah, I might jump up to say hi (sorry, I just really like you). Because of that, Iâd do best in a home with older kids who wonât get knocked over by my enthusiasm. Other dogs? Iâm a bit picky. Some I vibe with, others⦠not so much. Iâll need slow intros and a little patience, but I promise Iâm worth it. What I really want is a person who sees past the kennel walls and into my heart. Iâve got so much love and energy to giveâI just need the right human to share it with. Iâm Tom, Still waiting. Still hopeful.

Adopt Tom and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tom's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tom was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tom’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Tom’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tom’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
